Photoset: Brooklyn in Bloom

Spring is in full swing and Brooklyn is alive with vibrant colors and sweet fragrances. If you’re trying to escape the dull grey concrete of Manhattan, you should head to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Free every Saturday from 10-12pm, BBG is home to a beautiful cherry esplanade. You can walk through cherry lane and admire the cherry blossoms in full bloom above and all around you. Since BBG is free on Saturdays definitely try to get there early in the morning before the post-brunch crowd arrives. Even if you get to BBG with the afternoon crowd you’ll be able to find space underneath the canopy of a gorgeous tree or next to a stream where you can sit down, sunbathe or read, or smell the roses. Below are my favorite photos from my visit to BBG. Happy Spring everyone!
